IMA-DMP aimed to collect representative occupational exposure data from a wide variety of workplaces to determine existing exposure levels and to monitor exposure trends over time. In addition, the DMP allows companies to check compliance with national occupational exposure limits, to have a complete picture of existing exposure levels at their sites, to identify situations requiring further investigation or implementation of additional control measures to reduce workers’ exposure, and monitor effectiveness of implemented dust control measures.
