Project
The National Survey of Working Conditions (NWCS) is conducted by TNO and CBS in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
Remarks
TNO and CBS publish separately, jointly and in cooperation with third parties based on the NWCS, both in reports and in online tools (e.g. the benchmarktool of TNO, the dashboard arbeidsomstandigheden of CBS, and Statline). Acces to the most recent data is in cooperation with TNO/CBS. In addition, third parties can conduct their own statistical research on the NWCS of at least 1 year old using the microdata files. NWCS data will - subject to conditions - be made accessible to authorised institutions via CBS Microdata Services. This includes the possibility of linking the NEA data to other data sources from CBS' System of Social Statistical Files. More information on this can be found on CBS' “Conducting your own research” page: https://www.cbs.nl/nl-nl/onze-diensten/maatwerk-en-microdata/microdata-zelf-onderzoek-doen From April 2026, a statistically secure file will also be available via DANS (https://easy.dans.knaw.nl/easy-static/index.html). Statistical security prevents substantive conclusions about identifiable units.
